In Kashmir, several rebel attacks left three rebels dead. 

The National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN), a separatist group in northeast India, has threatened to halt peace talks unless the police and army stopped their raids of Naga criminal groups. The raids have seized drugs, stolen property and illegal weapons. As with most long running separatist organizations, NSCN now pays its way with a lot of criminal activity.

In Pakistan, police arrested four more al Qaeda members. The arrests were made possible by intelligence information made available by the American FBI and CIA.
